Testimonial...
Dear Bill,
I just wanted to write you this letter to thank you for
all of the assistance that you and your staff gave to
me. I was the one that had the vinyl-lined pool with
fiberglass steps. After 28 years of sun, chlorine and
northeast winters, my steps looked horrid. I had
discoloration, peeling and several hair line cracks in
the surface.
I also had a mysterious leak that always pointed back to
the steps. I searched up and down the Internet for
something to resurface them, and no one could help me. I
even checked marine sites. Your product is amazing.
Since I was unable to rent a sandblaster at the local
home center and a professional sandblaster was unable to
do the job, I opted to sand them myself. I used a
combination of a belt sander; drum sander and orbital
sander to get into all of the nooks and crannies. It
took a few hours but it was worth it. Since I had never
used a product like this before, I only mixed a quart at
a time and I also had my wife handing me whatever I
needed to save time. I am glad that I did, since the
steps had angles, one quart at a time was perfect.
After the first coat, my wife (the critic) was really
impressed. Now that they are done, I am so very pleased
at the way the steps turned out. The non-skid powder
worked great. I even had some left, so I added it to the
oil-based paint that I used for the coping.
I can’t thank you enough. You saved me a
lot of money. If I were to remove the steps, put in a
wall and use drop-ins, it would have cost me over
$4,000.00. If I wanted to replace the steps with new
ones, it would have cost me almost $10,000.00.
Also, there was no guarantee that the
new hardware would line up with the old. For a
28-year-old pool, that is a chance that I did not want
to take. I am also including some before, during and
after photos. I hope that you enjoy them. I was not sure
if your servers would accept E-mailed photos so I
printed them. If you want them sent via E-Mail, just
give me a buzz.
Respectfully, Peter Brown Nutley, NJ |
